Brooke Larimer

Head of Foundation Services

Brooke Larimer combines her musical training and her extensive experience in business management and arts administration in the Head of Foundation Services position at Alter, Kendrick & Baron, LLP. A working opera singer, she has a passion for the promotion of music and the people who make it. Before joining the firm, Ms. Larimer was on faculty at Mt. Holyoke College, and held the position of Manager of Operations & Administration at Prize4Life, a small non-profit with a mission of finding a cure for ALS disease. She completed degrees in music performance at Vanderbilt University and The Boston Conservatory and co-founded Boston Opera Collaborative, a small, artist-driven opera company that has produced over thirty operas as well as countless concerts and events since its founding in 2006. Today she serves Boston Opera Collaborative as a board member and Treasurer. She sits on the Advisory Board for Resonance Works Pittsburgh, and also co-hosts the Indie Opera Podcast.
