Marissa Saravis graduated from Fordham University School of Law in 2020, with a concentration in Intellectual Property & Information Law. While at Fordham Law, Marissa served as President of the Media & Entertainment Law Society, a Notes & Articles Editor for the Fordham Intellectual Property, Media & Entertainment Law Journal, and Alumni Affairs Editor for the Moot Court Board. She was also awarded the Archibald R. Murray Public Service Award.
During law school, Marissa worked in the Samuelson-Glushko Intellectual Property and Information Law Clinic where she advised clients on a variety of intellectual property matters. She also interned with Sony Music Entertainment, the National Football League, and Major League Baseball.
Prior to law school, Marissa worked in general and company management and development for Broadway and Off-Broadway productions. She graduated magna cum laude from the University of California, Davis in 2014 with a Bachelor’s degree in Dramatic Art and English.
