Lisa Alter was recently asked by Fast Company to comment on the rise of songwriting catalog deals in the industry. “Some of the more aggressive players have raised the bar in terms of pricing, speed of closing—it’s become a very intense business,” said Lisa. “Going back a number of years, these deals could drag on for months. We are just in a boom in the business.”
