Brooke Larimer combines her musical training, her extensive experience in business management and arts administration, and her coach training to her position as the Head of Foundation Services at Alter, Kendrick & Baron, LLP. A working opera singer, she has a passion for the promotion of music and the people who make it. Before joining the firm, Ms. Larimer was on faculty at Mt. Holyoke College and held the position of Manager of Operations & Administration at Prize4Life, a small non-profit with a mission of finding a cure for ALS disease. Brooke is co-founder and founding President of Boston Opera Collaborative, an innovative, artist-driven opera company that has produced dozens of operas and has served as a springboard to launch many careers in both performance and arts leadership. As a singer, Brooke has performed mezzo-soprano and contralto roles across the United States and in Europe. She is also co-host of the Indie Opera Podcast and is a certified ADHD coach.
Brooke completed degrees in music performance at Blair School of Music at Vanderbilt University and The Boston Conservatory.
