Primary Wave Music has partnered with the estate of soul legend Wilson Pickett in a deal that includes an interest in his music publishing catalog and a share of his name, image, and likeness rights. The partnership encompasses classics such as “In the Midnight Hour,” “Mustang Sally,” and “Land of a Thousand Dances.” According to the announcement, Primary Wave will work closely with the estate to pursue new marketing, branding, digital, synchronization, and film and television opportunities.
